Clouds of Magellan Press is pleased to announce two new works for 2023. The first is a crime novel by renowned Australian writer Dennis Altman – Death in the Sauna.

In 2003, on the eve of a major international AIDS Conference in London, the Conference chair is found dead in suspicious circumstances. Tracking down how he died reveals layers of deception, rivalry and danger for those close to him.

Dennis Altman has written widely on sexuality, politics and culture both in Australia and globally.

The next work to be published in the first half of this year is a novel by Colin Batrouney – The Bannerman Shortlist – details in a later post!

Clouds of Magellan will focus after these works on non-fiction only in the compassion / spirituality sphere, as well as putting effort into the new Rainshadow imprint.
